Two worlds, one story.
Chaput brings the symbols of our civilisation into contemporary scarf design and ancient rituals into everyday life. Collection and Wedding develop the same creative approach for everyday wear and personal celebrations. Here we share our current product direction and the framework for potential collaborations.
Our brand approach
Every pattern tells a story. Collection focuses on original, numbered editions; Wedding draws on a couple’s colours, symbols and story. Both lines develop through a shared brand identity, design approach and production organisation.
Chaput Collection
The first collection is planned around three designs: Tree of Life, Layers of the Sky, and Path and Trace. We plan 41 numbered scarves per design, a limited edition of 123 in total.
- Product direction: 65 × 65 cm, 14 momme silk twill.
- Everyday wear, gifting and collectable value.
- Production details and costs are being refined with manufacturers.
Chaput Wedding
Patterns created around a couple’s story become keepsakes guests can use beyond the celebration. Each project takes shape around colours, symbols, quantity and presentation preferences.
- Current service approach: at least 50 pieces and two design revision rounds.
- Polyester satin or twill; other fabrics considered subject to availability.
- Size, edge finishing, packaging and delivery timing will be confirmed for each project and its production conditions.
Sales and market access
In Turkey, we aim to build direct customer relationships through our website. For Collection abroad, we plan selective Etsy tests and website access supported by local partners. For Wedding, local partners will support customer communication and project coordination. Experience in the first countries will guide the next steps.
The local partner’s role
Local language, cultural knowledge, access to suitable customers and communication support are central to the partnership. Chaput will focus on design and production organisation; responsibilities will be defined together for each country.
- Local promotion, language adaptation and conveying customer expectations.
- Coordinating briefs and design approvals for Wedding projects.
- Joint assessment of transport, customs procedures and local delivery costs and responsibilities.
The next step
First, we are clarifying manufacturer quotations and production conditions. We will then assess transport, customs and local operations in the target country with the partner to establish a workable collaboration. Fees, payment flows and responsibilities will be agreed after this assessment.
